Hello! I'm Victoria Camp-Allison. I grew up on the East Coast in New England where my passion for art and
crafts began at a young age. Always on the pursuit of learning something
new, I immersed myself in many creative areas such as illustration,
polymer clay, sewing, jewelry making, photography, and web design.
My pursuit to continue on a career path in art and design led me to the
West Coast, where I earned a degree in Fashion Design from
FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco, and began my business in jewelry. I transitioned my business from part-time to full-time in early 2011. After spending 8 years in the Bay Area, I have journeyed back to the East Coast and currently reside in New York's lower Hudson Valley.
The designs in my jewelry line can be described as vintage nostalgia updated into
modern, feminine styles - featured styles include show pieces that are perfect for weddings and special
occasions, and personalized designs for everyday wear. My inspiration comes from colors,
textures, and items that contain a special history. Some of my favorite pieces to design are those which help you share your story – whether it’s an expression of who you are, the memory of someone special, your hometown, or favorite location on the map! All designs are created in my (smoke free) home studio.
When the opportunity arises to take a break, I enjoy spending time designing
and sewing clothing, creating miniatures, and baking desserts - most
often involving chocolate! I can also be found out and about with my husband, accompanied by our sweet doggie, Butters. |
Butters is the
Floor Supervisor at Victoria Allison Jewelry. His responsibilities include
lost-bead tracking, alerting me to deliveries & making sure I am
taking scheduled breaks each day. His enthusiasm and friendliness cannot
be matched! |
